Training
When migrating from WordPerfect is it important that assistants return to their desk with the skills to produce documents at the same level they did before. Typically assistants must be trained in a full range of features from the very basic to the most advanced. CTD provides highly customized, skilled training for all your users, from assistants and administrative staff to busy lawyers, help desk and in-house trainers. Our training sessions focus on a firm’s actual work product and practice areas, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system. Whatever your migration or upgrade plans are, CTD has the experience and expertise required to make your training and rollout a success.
Floor Support
CTD’s post-training floor support helps maintain firm productivity even immediately after a major conversion. Once users return to their desks and the pressures of a firm’s client needs, having someone instantly available is critical and eases the transition from classroom to workplace. Our patient, knowledgeable team answers the inevitable after-class assistant questions, reinforces vital concepts, and works through infrequently used features. We can also use scheduled floor support time to fit in one-on-ones for lawyers, providing them with the precise information they need at just the right time. All our instructors perform floor support duties on a regular basis. When appropriate, CTD will rotate instructors through both training and on-site support. This gives the opportunity for the user to meet with their instructor, post training.

Help Desk Staffing
Our Help Desk staffing provides the same level of exceptional service you have come to expect from CTD. We can train your own Help Desk staff to quickly and accurately answer end-user calls, and we can provide additional staff during and following a migration or upgrade.
Lunch and Learns
A series of lunch and learns are available to enhance the knowledge of your assistants in the advanced features of Microsoft products. Topics such as Track Changes and Metadata, Advanced Tables, Mail Merge, Excel and PowerPoint just to name a few. All Lunch and Learn material can be customized to the requirements of the firm.
Floor Support Visits
Many of our clients find it useful to have a floor support day once every few months, to answer any questions or troubleshoot problems. Combining a Floor Support visit with a Lunch and Learn session can be arranged.
CTD Productivity Series
This is a series of seminar sessions offered at the CTD office. The series is open in that topics are not customized to individual clients. A series of sessions are offered in all Office applications. These 3 hours sessions look at time saver features. Participants should be comfortable in the basics of the application before attending. This series will soon be offered to CTD clients via Webex.
Telephone Support
CTD is pleased to offer to its clients a telephone support service. The purpose of the service is to answer feature related questions through to troubleshooting and repairing of problematic documents. The service is available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. The service can be contracted through a quarterly contract or on a problem by problem basis. Support is provided by qualified instructors who have access to all customizations of the firm involved.
